# Install Task Management in Google Antigravity

Source: https://github.com/anthropics/knowledge-work-plugins/tree/main/productivity/skills/task-management
Listing: https://www.antigravityskills.org/skill/task-management
Safety review (2026-10-14): Very low risk: a Markdown-only skill that edits a local TASKS.md file.

## Rules for the agent
- Before running anything, tell the user what you will download and whether it contains scripts, and ask them to confirm.
- Install into this project (.agents/skills/) unless the user asks for a global install (~/.gemini/config/skills/).
- Do not run other commands from the source repository unless the user asks.

## Steps
1. Download the repository

```bash
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/anthropics/knowledge-work-plugins /tmp/kwp && git -C /tmp/kwp log -1 --format=%h -- productivity
```

   The second command prints the last commit that changed the productivity plugin. We reviewed it at 8444efc; a different hash means it changed after our review.
2. Copy the skill into this project (workspace skill)

```bash
mkdir -p .agents/skills && cp -r /tmp/kwp/productivity/skills/task-management .agents/skills/
```

   Run from the project root where TASKS.md should live.
3. Or install it for all projects (global skill)

```bash
mkdir -p ~/.gemini/config/skills && cp -r /tmp/kwp/productivity/skills/task-management ~/.gemini/config/skills/
```

   Use this instead of the previous step. For the Antigravity CLI the global folder is ~/.gemini/antigravity-cli/skills/. Tasks still go into TASKS.md in whichever folder you are working in.
4. Optional: add the task board

```bash
cp /tmp/kwp/productivity/skills/dashboard.html .
```

   Copies the board next to TASKS.md. Open it in Chrome or Edge and pick your TASKS.md; it fetches a font from Google Fonts.
5. Check that Antigravity sees it
   Antigravity 2.0 app: start a new conversation and ask "What skills do you have?"; task-management should be listed. Antigravity CLI: run /skills (/skills reload in a session that was already open).

Note: The knowledge-work-plugins READMEs document Cowork and the Claude Code plugin only and do not mention Antigravity. These steps copy the plain SKILL.md folder into Antigravity's standard skill folders. No API keys or binaries needed.

Done when the skill is listed: in the Antigravity 2.0 app ask "What skills do you have?" in a new conversation (the app has no /skills command); in the Antigravity CLI run /skills (run /skills reload first in a session that was already open).
