Calendar Management
@openclawOpenClaw's gog skill: list, create and update Google Calendar events (plus Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Docs) through the gog command-line tool.
Medium risk: Markdown-only skill, but it drives an external CLI with your Google OAuth tokens that can send email and edit files if you grant those scopes.
Install Calendar Management in Google Antigravity
Antigravity loads skills from .agents/skills/ in your project or ~/.gemini/config/skills/ for all projects (official docs). Full guide
Install the "Calendar Management" skill for Google Antigravity. Follow the steps at https://www.antigravityskills.org/install/calendar-management.md (source: https://github.com/openclaw/openclaw/tree/main/skills/gog). Before running anything, show me what you will download and whether it includes scripts, and wait for my OK. Install it into this project (.agents/skills/) unless I say global. When done, check that Antigravity lists it as an installed skill.
The agent reads the install file, shows you what it will download and waits for your OK.
Option 2: install it yourself
- 1. Install the gog CLI
brew install gogcli
The skill's metadata lists the Homebrew formula gogcli, which provides the gog binary. See gogcli.sh for other platforms.
- 2. Clone the skill folder
git clone --depth 1 --filter=blob:none --sparse https://github.com/openclaw/openclaw /tmp/openclaw && git -C /tmp/openclaw sparse-checkout set skills/gog
A sparse clone fetches only the skill folder from the large OpenClaw repository.
- 3. Copy into your workspace (this project only)
mkdir -p .agents/skills && cp -r /tmp/openclaw/skills/gog .agents/skills/gog
Run this from your project root. Antigravity reads workspace skills from <project>/.agents/skills/<folder>/.
- 4. Or copy globally (all projects)
mkdir -p ~/.gemini/config/skills && cp -r /tmp/openclaw/skills/gog ~/.gemini/config/skills/gog
Use this instead of the workspace step if you want the skill in every project. Antigravity reads global skills from ~/.gemini/config/skills/<folder>/.
- 5. Authorize Google once
gog auth credentials /path/to/client_secret.json && gog auth add you@gmail.com --services calendar
Run this yourself in a terminal. Add other services (gmail, drive, contacts, docs, sheets) only if you want the agent to use them.
- 6. Check that Antigravity sees it
Start a new agent session and ask "What skills do you have?" (in the Antigravity CLI you can also run /skills). The skill should appear as gog.
The OpenClaw README does not mention Antigravity, so this is a manual copy. Needs the gog binary and your own Google OAuth client credentials. Set GOG_ACCOUNT=you@gmail.com to avoid repeating --account. Never paste client secrets or refresh tokens into the chat; the skill tells the agent not to ask for them.

What is Calendar Management?
How to use Calendar Management?
Key features of Calendar Management
- ✓We counted at a5e54e4 (openclaw/openclaw HEAD, 2026-10-21): the gog folder is one file, SKILL.md (131 lines, 6,679 bytes), with no scripts. Its metadata declares the gog binary as the only required program (Homebrew formula gogcli).
- ✓We counted: 24 command bullets in the Common commands list. Calendar has 5 (events, create, create with color, update, colors); Gmail 9, Sheets 6, Drive 1, Contacts 1, Docs 2. There is no calendar delete or free-time search command.
- ✓We counted: 11 event color IDs are listed with hex values, from 1 (#a4bdfc) to 11 (#dc2127); --event-color works on create and update.
- ✓The same skill covers Gmail (search, send, drafts, reply), Drive search, Contacts, Sheets and Docs export, so one OAuth grant can reach far more than a calendar; the setup line shows --services gmail, calendar, drive, contacts, docs, sheets. Gmail send and Sheets clear are in the command list.
- ✓SKILL.md tells the agent to run the requested gog command first and enter setup only after an authentication error, and never to ask for passwords, client secrets or refresh tokens in chat.
- ✓Headless hosts get a 5-step remote-auth recipe (SSH port forward, --manual or --remote --step 1/2 paste mode, GOG_KEYRING_PASSWORD for the file keyring); callback URLs must never enter chat or agent tool input.
- ✓The skill is OpenClaw-native (metadata key "openclaw" with a brew installer). The OpenClaw README points to its own docs.openclaw.ai for skills; it does not mention Antigravity, Claude Code or Cursor (we searched), so every other install here is a manual copy.
When to use Calendar Management
- 1Ask what is on your calendar this week
- 2Schedule a meeting block from a chat request
- 3Rename or recolor an existing event
- 4Email a meeting follow-up after checking the calendar
Installation & Setup Guide
Agent Rules / Prompt SetupFollow these steps (taken from the project's own docs) to configure Calendar Management in your development environment.
gog is bundled in the OpenClaw repository's skills/ folder; OpenClaw's skill metadata offers to install the gog binary via Homebrew (gogcli).
cp -r /tmp/openclaw/skills/gog ~/.claude/skills/gog
The repository documents no Claude Code install for this skill; copy the folder to ~/.claude/skills/ (Claude Code reads skills from there) after the sparse clone above, and install the gog CLI.
Usage Example & Verification
1) SKILL.md command: gog calendar events <calendarId> --from <iso> --to <iso> (list events between two ISO dates). 2) SKILL.md command: gog calendar create <calendarId> --summary "Title" --from <iso> --to <iso> --event-color 7. 3) Our example: "Show my primary calendar for next Monday to Wednesday, then add a 'Focus time' block on Tuesday 9:00-11:00 in color 9." -> The agent runs gog calendar events for those dates, then gog calendar create with --summary, --from, --to and --event-color 9 (it needs the gog CLI authorized for calendar).
Security Review
Static reviewMedium risk: Markdown-only skill, but it drives an external CLI with your Google OAuth tokens that can send email and edit files if you grant those scopes.
Full review: scope, findings, risks
skills/gog contains only SKILL.md; there are no bundled scripts. The frontmatter metadata requires the `gog` binary and lists a Homebrew install of the gogcli formula; the binary itself is a separate project (gogcli.sh) and was not part of this review. The skill instructs the agent to run gog commands that read and write Gmail (including `gog gmail send`), Google Calendar (events, create, update), Drive, Contacts, Sheets (including `sheets clear`) and Docs. Setup uses your own OAuth client file (`gog auth credentials /path/to/client_secret.json`) and stores tokens in the system keyring or a file backend protected by GOG_KEYRING_PASSWORD. The skill explicitly says never to ask for passwords, client secrets or refresh tokens in chat and that callback URLs must not enter agent tool input. Network calls go to Google APIs through gog.
Operational Notes & Known Limitations
Known Limitations
- •Requires the external gog CLI (Homebrew formula gogcli) installed and on PATH; the binary is a separate project we did not review.
- •Requires a Google OAuth client (client_secret.json) and a one-time browser authorization.
- •The skill documents list, create and update for calendar events; it does not list a delete or free-time search command.
- •It is a general Google Workspace skill, so it also gives the agent Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Sheets and Docs access if you authorize those services.
- •Google Workspace only: no Outlook or Apple Calendar.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Calendar Management skill safe?
The skill itself is one Markdown file with no scripts; all actions run through the external gog CLI against Google's APIs with OAuth tokens you authorize. It can send email and change Sheets if you grant those services, so authorize only calendar if that is all you need. It tells the agent never to ask for passwords, client secrets or refresh tokens in chat.
How do I install Calendar Management in Antigravity?
Install the gog CLI (brew install gogcli), sparse-clone https://github.com/openclaw/openclaw with skills/gog, copy skills/gog into .agents/skills/gog or ~/.gemini/config/skills/gog, authorize with gog auth, then check by asking "What skills do you have?" (Antigravity CLI: /skills).
Does it work with personal Gmail accounts?
The skill's own example uses `gog auth add you@gmail.com`, and setup uses your own OAuth client_secret.json.
Can it delete events or find free time?
Those commands are not documented in the skill. It documents listing, creating and updating events and event colors.
Does it support Outlook or Apple Calendar?
No, gog is for Google Workspace services only.
