HubSpot's official skills that teach AI agents to look up, update and report on CRM records with the hubspot agent CLI.

Security Reviewed

Instruction-only HubSpot skills with one pagination script; they can modify live CRM data but require a dry-run and confirm step before irreversible writes.

Install HubSpot CRM in Google Antigravity

Antigravity loads skills from .agents/skills/ in your project or ~/.gemini/config/skills/ for all projects (official docs). Full guide

EasiestOption 1: paste this to your Antigravity agent
Install the "HubSpot CRM" skill for Google Antigravity.
Follow the steps at https://www.antigravityskills.org/install/hubspot-crm.md (source: https://github.com/hubspot/agent-cli-skills).
Before running anything, show me what you will download and whether it includes scripts, and wait for my OK.
Install it into this project (.agents/skills/) unless I say global. When done, check that Antigravity lists it as an installed skill.

The agent reads the install file, shows you what it will download and waits for your OK.

Option 2: install it yourself
  1. 1. Clone the source repository
    git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/hubspot/agent-cli-skills /tmp/agent-cli-skills

Downloads the 18 skill folders into a temporary folder.

  2. 2. Copy the skills into your workspace
    mkdir -p .agents/skills && cp -r /tmp/agent-cli-skills/*/ .agents/skills/

Run from your project root. Copy all 18 folders: the others depend on bulk-operations. Antigravity reads workspace skills from .agents/skills/<skill-name>/.

  3. 3. Or install them globally
    mkdir -p ~/.gemini/config/skills && cp -r /tmp/agent-cli-skills/*/ ~/.gemini/config/skills/

Use this instead of the previous step to have them in every workspace (~/.gemini/config/skills/<skill-name>/).

  4. 4. Log in with the hubspot CLI
    hubspot auth login

Or export a service key as HUBSPOT_ACCESS_TOKEN. Install jq as well, since several pipelines use it.

  5. 5. Check that Antigravity sees it

Antigravity 2.0 app: start a new conversation and ask "What skills do you have?" (the app has no /skills command). Antigravity CLI: run /skills; in a session that was already open, run /skills reload first. The 18 skill names should be listed. We have not run these skills in Antigravity.

Copies 18 skills, so your skill list grows by 18. You also need the `hubspot` agent CLI, which this repository does not explain how to install. The README does not mention Antigravity.

What is HubSpot CRM?

HubSpot's official skill collection that teaches an agent to run CRM work (look up records, manage deals, log activities, report on pipeline, clean data) through the `hubspot` agent CLI. It is for people who already have a HubSpot account and want an agent to operate it from the terminal. What we counted at commit a015a48 (2026-10-09) in hubspot/agent-cli-skills: 18 skill folders each with one SKILL.md (17,018 words in total; bulk-operations is the longest at 2,069), 11 resource files (one of them the shell script bulk-operations/resources/pagination-loop.sh), 31 files and about 180 KB overall. 16 of the 18 SKILL.md files mention dry-run, and bulk-operations is the foundation the README says every other skill builds on.

How to use HubSpot CRM?

Install the skills, make sure the `hubspot` CLI is on your PATH and logged in (`hubspot auth login`, or a service key exported as HUBSPOT_ACCESS_TOKEN), then ask for a CRM task in plain language. The agent reads bulk-operations first and then the task skill, runs `hubspot` commands that return JSONL, and for any irreversible write must do a dry run, copy the returned digest and confirm value, and run the real command within 5 minutes.

Key features of HubSpot CRM

  • ✓18 skills: bulk-operations, audience-targeting, communication-history, conversation-history-brief, conversation-inbox-triage, crm-data-quality, crm-lookup, custom-object-management, customer-retention, data-enrichment, deal-management, quote-to-cash, sales-execution, sales-reporting, team-ownership, ticket-resolution, visitor-identification, workflow-automation (README table; we counted 18 folders)
  • ✓Dry-run, digest and confirm flow for irreversible writes (delete, merge, update, upsert, associations and metadata deletes) at any row count, with a 300-second digest lifetime (bulk-operations/SKILL.md)
  • ✓pagination-loop.sh pages through `hubspot objects list` or `search` 100 records at a time into a JSONL file and needs jq (we read the script)
  • ✓Recovery with `hubspot history` described in bulk-operations (README says)
  • ✓Every SKILL.md has a `triggers:` list in its frontmatter next to name and description (we counted 18 of 18)

When to use HubSpot CRM

  1. 1Find a contact by email and list its open deals
  2. 2Daily sales briefing and pipeline snapshot
  3. 3Find incomplete records and merge duplicates
  4. 4Log calls, notes and tasks against deals
  5. 5Draft and review workflows from the CLI

Installation & Setup Guide

Agent Rules / Prompt Setup

Follow these steps (taken from the project's own docs) to configure HubSpot CRM in your development environment.

Step 1: Install all skills with npx skills (README)claude
npx skills hubspot/agent-cli-skills

README: installs all skills into your project's .claude/skills/ directory.

Step 2: Or install a single skill (README)claude
npx skills hubspot/agent-cli-skills/bulk-operations

README. Install bulk-operations alongside any other skill, because the others build on it.

Step 3: Cursor: named, no path givencursor

The README lists Cursor (and Windsurf) as target agents but gives no folder. Cursor's docs (cursor.com/docs/context/skills) load skills from .cursor/skills/ or .agents/skills/.

Step 4: Authenticate the hubspot CLIall
hubspot auth login

Per workflow-automation/SKILL.md every command works with a user OAuth login or a service key in HUBSPOT_ACCESS_TOKEN.

Usage Example & Verification

Prompt / Request Example
1. (our example, from the crm-lookup triggers)
Find the contact jane@acme.com and show me the open deals for this contact.

2. (our example, from the sales-reporting skill)
Give me a pipeline snapshot of open deals by stage.

3. (our example)
Delete the contact with ID 123. Show me the dry run first.
Expected Output / Response
1. The skill points the agent to hubspot commands that search contacts and traverse associations to deals, returning JSONL. 2. sales-reporting covers daily briefings, pipeline snapshots and win/loss analysis through hubspot reports and objects commands. 3. Per bulk-operations the agent must run the delete with --dry-run, which returns a digest and the confirm value (the record ID), and only then run the real command within 5 minutes. These come from reading the skill files; we have not run them against a HubSpot portal.
Installation Confirmation Method

Antigravity 2.0 app: start a new conversation and ask "What skills do you have?" (the app has no /skills command). Antigravity CLI: run /skills; in a session that was already open, run /skills reload first. Then run hubspot objects types in a terminal to confirm the CLI is logged in.

Instruction-only HubSpot skills with one pagination script; they can modify live CRM data but require a dry-run and confirm step before irreversible writes.

Full review: scope, findings, risks
Audit Scope:All 18 SKILL.md files, the 11 resource files (including bulk-operations/resources/pagination-loop.sh), README.md and LICENSE at commit a015a48 (2026-10-09). The only difference from our earlier review of a8eea08 is one changed line in workflow-automation/SKILL.md. The `hubspot` CLI is a separate product and was not reviewed. Static review only.
Key Findings:Instruction-only skills apart from one Bash pagination helper. All actions go through the `hubspot` CLI against your own HubSpot portal. Irreversible writes are gated by a documented dry-run, digest and confirm flow. Auth is `hubspot auth login` or HUBSPOT_ACCESS_TOKEN. bulk-operations tells the agent to submit feedback with `hubspot feedback --source agent`.
Identified Operational Risks & Permissions:Write access to live CRM data (update, merge, delete, GDPR purge with a service key); a service key in HUBSPOT_ACCESS_TOKEN is a powerful credential; the agent is told to send free-text feedback to HubSpot; the hubspot CLI itself is outside this repository and was not reviewed.

The repository has 31 files: 18 SKILL.md, 11 resource files, README and LICENSE. The only executable is bulk-operations/resources/pagination-loop.sh, which runs `hubspot objects list` or `search --limit 100 --format json` in a loop, follows meta.next, uses jq and writes one JSON object per line to the output file you name; it makes no other calls. A grep for curl, wget, eval, sudo, rm -rf, chmod and install commands found none in the skill files; the http hits are licence URLs and a JavaScript fetch example inside visitor-identification for your own website code. All actions run through the `hubspot` CLI with your OAuth login or service key. bulk-operations/SKILL.md requires dry-run, digest and confirm (300-second digest) for irreversible writes at any row count, and tells the agent to use `hubspot feedback` to send usage feedback to the CLI owners.

Operational Notes & Known Limitations

Known Limitations

  • •Requires the `hubspot` agent CLI, and the repository does not say how to install it (we searched the README and all SKILL.md files). Note it is not `hs`, the @hubspot/cli developer CLI
  • •Requires a HubSpot account and either an OAuth login or a service key; some commands are service-key-only, for example `owners list`, and the permanent GDPR purge (`--gdpr`) needs a service key
  • •Some data needs extra scopes or tiers, for example sequences need Sales Hub Professional or higher (bulk-operations/SKILL.md)
  • •Search and list return at most 100 records per page; larger jobs need pagination-loop.sh, which needs jq
  • •bulk-operations/SKILL.md tells the agent to send feedback to HubSpot with `hubspot feedback` when it hits a problem, so free text can leave your machine
  • •Antigravity: the README names Claude Code, Cursor and Windsurf and does not mention Antigravity. Difference from email-marketing on this site: that skill is writing guidance with no account access, this one operates a live CRM

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the HubSpot CRM skill safe?

The skills are Markdown plus one shell script that only calls hubspot objects list or search and writes JSONL to a file you name. They can change and delete live CRM data, but bulk-operations requires a dry-run, digest and confirm step for every irreversible write. Service keys are powerful, so scope them tightly.

How do I install HubSpot CRM in Antigravity?

Clone hubspot/agent-cli-skills, copy all 18 folders into .agents/skills/ (or ~/.gemini/config/skills/), then install and authenticate the hubspot CLI. The README itself does not mention Antigravity.

Is this the same as the hs HubSpot CLI?

No. The README says these skills use the hubspot agent CLI, which is distinct from hs, the @hubspot/cli developer CLI for apps, themes and modules.

Which skill should I start with?

bulk-operations. The README calls it the foundation; every other skill assumes its JSONL, pagination and dry-run patterns.

Can it delete records?

Yes: delete, merge, update and upsert are covered, but each needs a dry run first and must be executed within 5 minutes with the returned digest and confirm values.
