Programmatic SEO
@sickn33Instruction-only skill for deciding whether to build SEO pages at scale from templates and data, and for designing the page system if the answer is yes. It scores feasibility first and says to stop below 50.

Install Programmatic SEO in Google Antigravity
Antigravity loads skills from .agents/skills/ in your project or ~/.gemini/config/skills/ for all projects (official docs). Full guide
Install the "Programmatic SEO" skill for Google Antigravity. Follow the steps at https://www.antigravityskills.org/install/programmatic-seo.md (source: https://github.com/sickn33/antigravity-awesome-skills/tree/main/skills/programmatic-seo). Before running anything, show me what you will download and whether it includes scripts, and wait for my OK. Install it into this project (.agents/skills/) unless I say global. When done, check that Antigravity lists it as an installed skill.
The agent reads the install file, shows you what it will download and waits for your OK.
Option 2: install it yourself
- 1. Download the repository
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/sickn33/antigravity-awesome-skills.git /tmp/ag-skills && git -C /tmp/ag-skills log -1 --format=%h
We reviewed commit 2984de1. If the second command prints a different hash, the skill may have changed since our review.
- 2. Copy the skill into this project (workspace skill)
mkdir -p .agents/skills && cp -r /tmp/ag-skills/skills/programmatic-seo .agents/skills/
Run from your project root. Antigravity reads workspace skills from .agents/skills/<folder>/; this folder holds one file, SKILL.md (no scripts).
- 3. Or install it for all projects (global skill)
mkdir -p ~/.gemini/config/skills && cp -r /tmp/ag-skills/skills/programmatic-seo ~/.gemini/config/skills/
Use this instead of the previous step. Copy only the skills you need: the repo README warns that a large watched skills folder can overload Antigravity's context.
- 4. Check that Antigravity sees it
Antigravity app: start a new conversation and ask "What skills do you have?"; programmatic-seo should be listed. Antigravity CLI: run /skills (/skills reload in a session that was already open).
The repository's own installer (npx agentic-awesome-skills --antigravity --skills <ids> --dry-run, README) can also install selected skills; the copy steps above use the standard Antigravity skill folders and install only this one.

What is Programmatic SEO?
How to use Programmatic SEO?
Key features of Programmatic SEO
- ✓We counted at 2984de1: one file, SKILL.md, 373 lines and 8,562 bytes; no scripts.
- ✓Phase 0 Feasibility Index (0-100) with six weights: search pattern validity 20, unique value per page 25 (called the most important factor), data availability and quality 20, search intent alignment 15, competitive feasibility 10, operational sustainability 10.
- ✓Bands: 80-100 strong fit, 65-79 moderate fit, 50-64 high risk, below 50 do not proceed (stop and recommend alternatives).
- ✓Principles: every page must justify existing separately; data defensibility ranked proprietary, product-derived, user-generated, licensed, public; subfolders over parameters; "100 excellent pages > 10,000 weak ones".
- ✓Lists 12 playbooks by name only (templates, curation, conversions, comparisons, examples, locations, personas, integrations, glossary, translations, directories, profiles) with no detail for each.
- ✓Indexation rules: not every generated page should be indexed; index only pages with demand, unique value and a complete intent match. Kill-switch triggers: high impressions with low engagement at scale, thin content warnings, index bloat with no traffic, suppression signals.
- ✓Names seo-audit, schema-markup, copywriting and analytics-tracking as follow-up skills.
When to use Programmatic SEO
- 1Decide if a keyword pattern justifies hundreds of templated pages
- 2Design the data model, URL pattern and template for a directory or comparison section
- 3Set noindex and kill-switch rules before launch
- 4Review an existing programmatic section for thin or duplicate pages

Installation & Setup Guide
Agent Rules / Prompt SetupFollow these steps (taken from the project's own docs) to configure Programmatic SEO in your development environment.
mkdir -p .claude/skills && cp -r /tmp/ag-skills/skills/programmatic-seo .claude/skills/
Not documented per skill by the repository; this uses Claude Code's standard .claude/skills/ folder after the clone above.
The README lists installer targets for several hosts, but gives no per-skill Cursor path, so we do not list one.
Usage Example & Verification
1) SKILL.md output format: Feasibility Index (score, verdict, category rationale), opportunity summary (pattern, scale, competition), page system design (URL pattern, data, template, indexation rules) and risks with mitigations. 2) Our example: "We want /tools/<city>-<service> pages for 300 cities. We have a table of prices per city. Is programmatic SEO a good idea?" -> The agent scores the six categories and gives a verdict; with real city-level data the unique-value score can be high, with only swapped city names it should be low. 3) Our example: "Score this idea: 5,000 pages that differ only by the keyword." -> Expect a "Do Not Proceed" style verdict because unique value per page is the heaviest factor.
Security Review
Static reviewMarkdown-only planning guide; no scripts, no network, no keys.
Full review: scope, findings, risks
skills/programmatic-seo/ contains one file, SKILL.md (373 lines, 8,562 bytes). We read it in full and searched for commands, URLs and keys. Result: no shell commands, no scripts, no URLs, no API keys. README says the project is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Google; its install section documents Antigravity IDE and CLI (agy) installers. This is a static review; we did not run the skill.
Operational Notes & Known Limitations
Known Limitations
- •Text only: no keyword data, no SERP access. The agent cannot check search volume or competitors unless you provide them or add a tool.
- •The score is a subjective diagnostic; the skill itself says a high score means structural suitability, not guaranteed rankings.
- •The file is inconsistent at the edge: the 50-64 band is "high risk, only attempt with strong controls", but Phase 1 says to proceed only if the index is 65 or higher.
- •The 12 playbooks are only names; the skill gives no template or example for any of them.
- •Does not build pages; the closing "Example" and "Limitations" sections are generic template text.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Programmatic SEO skill safe?
In our static review of commit 2984de1 it is one Markdown file. We read all 373 lines and found no scripts, no network calls, no URLs and no API keys.
How do I install Programmatic SEO in Antigravity?
Clone sickn33/antigravity-awesome-skills, copy skills/programmatic-seo into .agents/skills/ (or ~/.gemini/config/skills/), then ask "What skills do you have?" (Antigravity CLI: /skills).
Will it generate thousands of pages for me?
No. It is a planning and evaluation guide. It says it does not implement pages unless explicitly requested, and it is built to talk you out of thin, templated pages.
What is the Feasibility Index?
A 0-100 score across six weighted categories in the skill. Unique value per page carries the most weight (25). Below 50 the skill says do not proceed.
Is it an official Google skill?
No. It is community-contributed to an independent collection whose README says it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
